WHO WE ARE?
This site was developed with the needs and interests of the DJarians in mind. The basic aim in developing this site was to gather Djarians from all walks of life, and to establish contact among them. This site will enable communication and will provide a place to share news of events, both of personal and professional nature, with other Djarians.
This site could become an important vehicle to both keep in touch with friends, or for other more serious purposes, like career information and other sociopolitical issues, but it’s success depends on your support and participation fill out the form below for your information, and if you would like to send us any feedback, please do so by sending an email.
History of DJ Sindh Govt. Science College
Diwan Dayaram Jethmal a prominent philanthropist and famous lawyer was the founder of D.J College. He realized the value and the need of higher Education to Sindhi’s. Before 1887 there was no college in Sindh. The students of Sindh Region had to go Bombay For higher Education as the Sindh was part of Bombay presidency. Only few students could afford to go Bombay for higher Education as it was highly expensive (at least Rs. 10,00 per month Rs. 8.00 per month messing and Rs. 2.00 extra that amount were too much at that time). Due to this reason not a single Sindhi had been able to obtain any degree in Science.
